Charleston homeless in urgent need of health care turn to Navigation Center for help

A team of physicians at the Medical University of South Carolina is increasing access to care for people experiencing homelessness through the use of telehealth medicine.

The Navigation Center provides a place for homeless people in Charleston and those at risk of homelessness to connect with service providers and enroll in job readiness training, housing, educational programs, financial management workshops, life-skills training, health care and mental health services.
